10/29/2026 Pre-launch Last updated: 10/29/2026 4 min read

Digimon Alysion supports five system languages and four card languages in official pre-launch materials. Traditional Chinese appears for UI, not for card text. Pre-registration runs in 49 countries and regions, but BANDAI has not published the country list.

What languages does Digimon Alysion support?

Official pre-registration wording separates system language (menus and UI) from card language (text printed on cards in the app).

System languages (five):

  • Japanese
  • English
  • Korean
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese

Card languages (four):

  • Japanese
  • English
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Korean

Traditional Chinese is not listed as a card language in the press release, even though it is listed as a system language. If you need card text in Traditional Chinese, that support is Not announced as of official pre-launch sources.

The U.S. App Store language field matches the five system languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Is Digimon Alysion available in my country?

BANDAI’s October 27, 2026 pre-registration announcement states the campaign is available in 49 countries and regions at the same time.

The specific names of those 49 countries and regions are Not announced in the official press materials in our fact table. We do not reproduce fan-compiled country lists here because they are not verified by BANDAI’s published list.

To register from a supported territory, follow the store steps in our pre-register guide . Launch timing remains planned for 2026 without a fixed day—see release date status .

Pixels in Orbit notes the official website offers English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese site pages among its language options; that is separate from in-game card language support.

Will more languages be added later?

The Closed β Test Survey Report (official news 002) includes player feedback requesting more language support. The development team’s response states they plan to have increased language support implemented toward the official launch, alongside UI improvements and friend-challenge features.

That is a development intention from the survey report, not a guarantee of which languages or dates. Any language beyond the five system / four card set above is Not announced until BANDAI confirms it.

Closed beta feedback on languages and matchmaking

Survey feedback also covered story presentation and matchmaking (for example difficulty telling speakers apart, or repeated opponents). Those topics belong to the beta experience, not final launch language support. See closed beta recap for dates and scope.

Story and cast names for the app’s Story Mode are summarized on story mode characters .

Quick reference

Item Official status

Card languages Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Korean (no Traditional Chinese)
Pre-registration regions 49 countries and regions (names Not announced)
Additional languages at launch Not announced (team plans increases per survey report)
PC or console locales Not announced

Do language settings affect pre-registration rewards?

Community milestone rewards—such as Pack Ticket [BD-01] and select promo cards—are tied to community milestones (“N players reached”), not to which UI language you pick in the app. Reward tiers and delivery by in-game mail are documented on pre-registration rewards . Card names on those rewards use Digimon Card Game numbering; reading them in your preferred card language once the app launches depends on the four-language card set above.

If your region is eligible but not named in public materials, you still need a valid App Store or Google Play account in a supported territory. BANDAI has not published troubleshooting steps for region errors—those cases remain Not announced.
