Digimon Alysion Closed Beta — Dates, Rules, Survey

The Digimon Alysion closed beta ended in August 2025 with 10,000 lottery slots. Official survey feedback and dev replies, labeled beta-only.

10/29/2026 Pre-launch Last updated: 10/29/2026 5 min read

The Digimon Alysion closed beta has ended. It was a limited, lottery-based test in August 2025, not the current pre-registration campaign. Everything below describes beta-era rules and survey feedback; the official release may differ.

When did the Digimon Alysion closed beta run?

All times below are UTC, matching the official closed beta notice.

Application period:

  • July 28, 2025, 9:00 AM through August 3, 2025, 1:59 AM

Testing period:

  • August 7, 2025, 2:00 AM through August 12, 2025, 1:59 AM

Participant cap: 10,000 players total. If applications exceeded that number, a lottery selected winners, who were notified by email.

Pre-launch sign-ups today use store pre-registration, documented on pre-register and release date —that is separate from the 2025 beta.

Who could join and what were the rules?

Official eligibility for the closed beta required:

  • A compatible Android or iOS device
  • A valid email address
  • Age over 13
  • Agreement to beta test guidelines and Terms of Service

Beta-only policies included:

  • Paid currency could not be purchased during the test
  • Tablet devices were not supported (including iPad); iPhone testers used TestFlight
  • After registration, the Apple/Google account could not be changed
  • Only part of the features and characters planned for launch were available
  • Emergency maintenance could happen without notice
  • Testers were asked to uninstall the test app after the period ended to avoid issues when installing the release version

Closed beta system requirements (not launch requirements) were Android 11+ with 8 GB RAM and iOS 15+ with 4 GB RAM. See system requirements for how those differ from current store listings.

Hardware labels for your phone at launch are Not announced on Google Play for Android minimums.

What happened to beta accounts and data?

The official notice states clearly that user data, in-game currency, items, and all other data would be deleted after the closed beta and would not carry over to the official release.

Cross-save for the launch app is Not announced.

What did the official survey say players liked?

The Closed β Test Survey Report summarizes feedback. Positive themes included:

  • Rules were easy to understand
  • Controls were easy to understand
  • UI and effects looked good
  • Matchmaking was quick for many players
  • Deck building felt intuitive with acquired cards
  • Story and characters left a good impression for some respondents

These comments describe the August 2025 beta build, not a promise about the shipping game.

What did players criticize, and how did the team respond?

Survey negative themes included:

  • Card text was small; effects were hard to read in a tight frame
  • Swipes did not always register; some actions needed precise input
  • Tutorial animations were long and not skippable, hurting pacing
  • Deck editing felt difficult at times
  • Matchmaking sometimes paired the same opponent repeatedly or mismatched skill levels
  • Story scenes felt sparse; it was hard to tell who was speaking

Development team responses (same official report) include:

  • Battle screen UI is the top priority for review
  • Deckbuilding aids and information will be added toward launch
  • Tutorial pacing will be improved for newcomers
  • Friend challenges, more language support, and other features are planned for official release

What did Game8 report about the beta?

Game8 published a closed beta review titled “Promising, But Nowhere Near Ready”—that headline is Game8’s impression, not BANDAI’s.

Game8 also describes a breeding-style mode in beta as timer-based tapping to digivolve, with random evolution paths and receiving a card at Mega stage. That gameplay detail is reported by Game8 from the beta; official launch breeding behavior is Not announced beyond store and press descriptions. For a fact-checked overview of breeding as advertised, see breeding and Digidex .

We do not treat Game8’s beta feel scores as official quality guarantees.

What should players do now?

The beta application window is closed. If you missed it, BANDAI’s survey report apologized for the high lottery demand and stated they are working to let more players access the game when it releases.

Current action is pre-registration on iOS and Android with community milestone rewards —not a new beta signup.
